Style skrev selvfølgelig litt om dette fenomenet: "With New York Fashion Week officially kicking off today, DKNY is helping ladies across the city increase their chances of being captured on camera (maybe even by our own Pete Miszuk) with Explore Your City, a new initiative with the Department of Transportation meant to get the wheels turning. The brand is leaving 75 bright orange bikes in different neighborhoods to increase awareness about the environmentally-friendly transportation alternative, and while you can't ride them, they're certainly a bright form of inspiration. DKNY will also distribute free NYC bike maps in each of their stores and give away a folding bike that will fit perfectly in a cramped Manhattan apartment. Forget blushing over not having a Town Car to pick you up curbside at Bryant Park this week—all of the chic girls will be arriving on two wheels."

This Spring DKNY adviced New Yorkers to explore their city by bike. The happening found place during Fashion Week in NY. I like the idea og trendy girls on bikes, but of course...as an scandinavian I am used to all the pretty girls dressed up on their bikes all over the city. Style had to say thi about the event:

Jump on your bike, girl!
